EmailMessage.Send Method (Boolean, Boolean)

Sends the EmailMessage to a SMTP server.

public bool Send(
   bool openMailServerConnection,
   bool closeMailServerConnection
);

Parameters

openMailServerConnection
Allows you to manually open the SMTP session.
closeMailServerConnection
Allows you to manually close the SMTP session.

Return Value

Remarks

This method can be used for manually opening the SMTP connection, sending numerous emails, and then closing the SMTP connection by calling .Disconnect()
